Database Download

Question

Hi...

I'm interested in purchasing the database. I was wondering how it is provided. Is it just a SQL database back up that I can download via my browser or something more complicated (I'm a software developer so no need to dumb down too much). Also, if I were to purchase the database now and then subscribe to updates at a later date, would I get all the data between initial purchase and date of subscription or just from date of subscription onwards?

Hi Stewart,

The database is MySQL download, which is updated daily through the updates service.

Updates rely on a current subscription, though we generally allow a grace period if some updates have been missed between subscriptions.

Stewart I subscribed yesterday, and setting up only took 30 minutes including the the Daily and Historic updates

* Install MySql

* Create blank database

* Run SQL Scripts

* Create schedule tasks using SCHTASKS.exe
