Impact of new jump race distances on database

Any idea how Smartform is going to deal with the newly re-measured distances of UKv jump races?

 

If it just flips over from the old distance to the new (in yards) for what's actually the exact same race, it's going to play havoc with my speed rating calculations.

HI Tim.

I am expecting us to get the exact new distance.  

In terms of comparing this with previous distances, a separate table will be needed if the distances are changing from the past in order to map a two mile race at Wetherby for example between an old distances in yards and a new distance in yards (despite both races being officially advertised as two miles).
