opening the smartform database

+1 vote
This is going to sound a simplistc question but having purchased the database I was surprised to realise it is just the database and there is no front end as I have bought several horse db's previously. Nevermind, I can learn and am starting with a mysql viewer (mysql manager) to look at the records but I am really struggling with what I need to enter for host, username and password. Any idea what values I can use for host, username and password to get this going ?

Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Rhys,

Everything you need to set up is covered in the Smartform User Manual. There are also a couple of set up videos available to all Smartform members, and I'll send these links to your email by separate cover.

No GUIs I'm afraid - Smartform is all about enabling queries and programming directly with horseracing data :)
