Query Reference Library

Question

Is there a library of generic queries available anywhere on the website?

I was just thinking that if there was a section where such queries were listed then SQL database idiots like myself could simply copy them and then adjust them to personal taste.

The examples in the manuals have proved to be very helpful but unfortunately when I amend them I invariably get error messages along the lines of having made an ambiguous statement or whatever

So is there a library or list of basic common queries available anywhere or are there plans to have such a section?

Pretty sure many would find such a listing helpful

Just noticed in another thread the idea has been suggested and seems to me to be quite a popular idea

Hi - we've been thinking of creating a knowledgebase for a while that would contain this kind of reference.

However, in the meantime - as well as the manuals, there are useful queries on the blog (hasn't been updated in a while, but will be resumed shortly) and also this Q&A site.  

To find useful queries that you can adapt on the Q&A site, you can go to the Search bar in the top right of the screen.  Try typing in "SQL",  "MySQL" or "query".
