I wish to contact someone with appropriate progr. experience to enable me to extract from the Racing Post website the betting forecasts for the days racecards.....

Not for nothing, but how essential is it that you have the Racing Post forecast?

The Smartform database already has a betting forecast in it (Press Association one, I think).
