Script Library

I am basically a computer programmer illiterate but would dearly love to make better utilization of the database. Is there any chance of having a members section where scripts could be made available to members? Perhaps it would also be possible to include a sub section where members could request specific scripts which other members might be prepared to provide for other newbies like me? It could also act as a reference library to give others ideas on how to write their own similar scripts. Personally I am quite prepared to pay for such a service but would imagine that there would be some tasks that were relatively commonly asked. (eg compiling your own ratings, importing and adding Betfair SP, exporting data to spreadsheets). I know there are various examples dotted around the site but having it in one place could imo prove very useful

Hi -

Try www.betwise.co.uk/smartform_resources

There are is a Perl script there that serves as a template for starting programs, as well as code elsewhere in manuals, Q&A etc.

But your point is well taken, we will be adding a wiki with additional scripts and queries at some point.  In the meantime feel free to contact us for specific advice directly or post questions here.

Thanks
