MacOS updater install

I am struggling to install the updater on MacOS - Monterray. This instruction say get in touch if the .zshrc file does not exist. It does not exist and i am not sure what to do now - i am concerned about data continuity if i miss a days update.

Any help would be greatly apporeciated.

Hi - we'll be in touch separately to troubleshoot your install, but no need to worry about data continuity - the updater automatically "fills in" up to 60 days' history.

Many thanks Colin - i have instead installed it on a linux server and it seems to be working fine - apart from it says my "Sorry, these details appear to be invalid. Press 'Enter' to continue..." when installing the updater? Any ideas on how to fix that?
